Dr. Mehmet Kürşat DERİCİ

Mehmet Kürşat Derici graduated from the Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and completed his Ph.D. in the Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology, in 2004.
Following the introduction of the Ankara Numune Hospital duty as a doctor in 2010, he worked as an analyst expert in Pharmacology Laboratory of Refik Saydam Hygiene Center Presidency, Drug Cosmetic Research Department. After the year 2012, he worked as a head of department in Turkey Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, Department of Medical Biological Products Laboratories. During this period, he worked on GMP, GLP, laboratory safety, cell culture and stem cell studies, in vitro and in vivo analysis of biological and biotechnological drugs. Starting from 2015, he started his academic life at Hitit University Medical Faculty, Medical Pharmacology Department.
In addition to his extensive scientific work, he has also held administrative positions such as the presidency of the department and the vice-director of the Institute of Health.
Dr. Derici is a member of the Turkish Pharmacology Association and the Vaccine Science Association and is also a member of the editorial board of the Turkish Journal of Hygiene and Experimental Biology and an associate editor of the Middle Black Sea Journal of Health Science Magazine. Besides this, Dr. Derici is also a member of the European Pharmacopoeia (European Pharmacopea)- the Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET) Working Group and the Turkish Pharmacopoeia Working group Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency.
PROJECTS:
Dr. Derici worked as an executive and assistant researcher in several scientific research projects supported by the Eczacıbaşı Scientific Research and Award Fund, Novartis Scientific Research and Award Fund, Hitit University and TÜBİTAK. He has over 20 national and international publications, over 30 national and international reports, plus 13 essay writings.
The researcher is currently working as the Head of Department of Medical Pharmacology at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine.
