Assoss. Prof.Dr. Demet Cansaran DUMAN

Ankara University

Dr. Demet Cansaran DUMAN was born in Giresun in 1979. She graduated from the Department of Biology at Ankara University, Ankara in 1999. She began her academic career as a research assistant at Ankara University in 1999. She got her master’s degree in Biology in 2002 and her doctorate degree in Biology in 2007 from the Institute of Science Sciences, Ankara University. In 2007, taking part in the Refik Saydam Hygiene Center Presidency, she started to conduct National Drug and Cosmetic Reference Laboratory. Dr. Demet Cansaran DUMAN is currently an associate professor of Biotechnology Institute at Ankara University, Ankara. Her fields of interest are Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Biosecurity of lab. She is the author of many articles and book chapters including National Microbiology Standards and Laboratory Safety Guideline. She has more than twenty year experiences in the management and implementation of different national and international projects. She was an deputy editor of Turkish Turkish Bulletin of Hygiene and Experimental Biology.
